I just moved with these guys of New York Movers = NYC Movers . I first want to express how friendly their staff was; their foreman Mike, Chris and the other guy from the company's Customer service his name is Andrew were great. They arrived right on time and went straight to work wrapping my furniture and stacking boxes. They were fast, efficient and very professional and worked with care. This local moving company was recommended to me by a friend who had hired them twice previously and was very pleased. I called the Office and got a very competitive price quote after describing the job. They provided me with what they call an "All-inclusive, Flat-rate Quote”, you know in the beginning what price you will pay, no ugly surprises. When the guys finished my 2 bedroom move locally I paid $420 including tips, they didn't charge me for a travel time, no fuel taxes whatever and I will definitely call these movers again as well as recommend this moving service provider and consider them one of the Best local moving companies in the area. I used New York Movers = NYC Movers for my move as well as my office move locally here in Manhattan. Dave was exceptional in leading his movers' team, while moving my furniture including some really heavy items and boxes. Not only were my moves done efficiently, but they also wrapped with like personal care all of my items and saved me time and headaches from doing it myself. I was also working on a tight budget and they gave me a good flat rate price, and the entire service was excellent! What else can I say regarding their moving service? If moving is a service you need, you should use ! Great value and friendly experienced staff!

When I moved from my old apartment in Midtown Manhattan to a new place in Soho, I used the moving service of New York City Best Movers Manhattan Moving Company, and it was my first experience moving my furniture with a local mover so I didn't know what to expect. I had heard from some of my friends how many movers are kind and courteous till they take your money and then the work is outsourced to some other company. Well but I had to move so I called the first company that I saw online with a decent number of positive reviews and that was this mover . When I called their Customer Service office they were very friendly and their office manager nice and friendly young lady gave me a price quote that was very accurate. I wasn’t charged extra for anything except $75 for packaging some of my stuff I decided to add. The driver and the movers were at my house on time and my stuff was delivered with no damages and on time. I would be happy to recommend this company to my friends and to anyone planning on moving soon. They packed and wrapped everything with care and the entire move happened to be just a stress-free moving experience! We were moving our furniture from our house to a storage unit in the same neighborhood last month. We decided to hire this local moving service company based on our previous experience with these guys in 2009. We were extremely pleased with the help we've got from their Customer Service lady.

The entire stuff including our moving crew and the Office staff were courteous, professional, and worked very hard, helping us to schedule our relocation and the movers for carrying heavy furniture and boxes up and down stairs for 5+hours. We are very pleased and will definitely use these movers again!

We used this moving service company based entirely on this site and the comments left here, and so I wanted to leave a rave review here for our recent move. My company was paying for the service, the $1260 price quote came in under that amount, and I liked the way I was treated and our communication with Janet, so we booked them for our long distance move.

Their staff arrived 15 minutes early and loaded our third-floor two-bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. They were very careful with everything, and dealt with care and really well with our furniture. The amount they could haul was amazing! We met them in the city and they sent an extra guy to help with the unload, which made it a lot quicker considering the small elevator. The unload took about 2.5 hours, so the whole day (load, drive, unload) took 12 hours. They came in a little over the estimate, but we paid the capped rate and we gave just over a $250 tip.

We really liked their help from the customer service, and their rates and the pricing policy. The guys were all very nice, friendly, and professional. We definitely plan to use them again if possible in future moves.

Their customer service was outstanding and their staff were professional, friendly and fast! I have moved almost every two years for the last decade and have always had one disaster or another. I gave this moving service provider a try because they were eco-friendly (which pleased my wife) and their customer service representative was so much more informative about the details about the rates and the price quote and our insurance information. Their price is more reasonable than the other moving companies in the area can offer. So, I scheduled my move without any doubts.

On my moving day, I was nervous because the movers called and said they were running a few minutes late but they showed up only 15 minutes late. Their staff was very friendly and English-speaking and the foreman his name is Andrew was very professional and explained the process and how the next 4-5 hours would be outlined. He went over all the paperwork and they got right to work. They got the whole thing packed and loaded in 3 and 1/2 hours!!!

I was told that my delivery could take as long as 4 business days (which worried me), but I got my stuff in 2 days! The delivery driver was friendly and professional and there was no one box damaged. The final price for the whole packing/moving service was $1750 and it was exactly the money I was given the estimate to pay from the very beginning!

All things considered it was the smoothest move I've had to date. I will be referring people from my department at work . I hope they have the same experience I did!

These guys were great. Everything was done neatly and quickly and with a lot of care. I had a sofa that almost did not fit through the stairway of my new place, but they didn't give up until they figured out a way to get it in - that required taking off the leg and rebuilding the sofa. The bonus is that the team is friendly and fun

I called New York Movers, after being referred to them by a close friend that had "The best moving experience ever!" With out a doubt my moving experience was as well. The guys Casey, Travis and James were strong, fast, polite, real expert movers. They padded and shrink wrapped all of my furniture, and used dollies and lifting straps I have never seen, state of the art equipment that made my move go that much faster. My move was completed faster than I would have dreamed, they placed all of my items where I needed them to be. I really appreciate the good character and hard work of New York Movers, I will recommend them to you and anyone else!
