Blue Pelican is a unique shop with a lot of heART, and, new for 2013, Yarn! The biggest compliment we receive is that we "are much bigger on the inside than we look on the outside." Filled with local art and crafts by owner artist Jenn Johnson, including Seaside Memory Lockets, ceramic art by Antoinette Gaskins Mattingly, work by Vic Lowe (whose designs decorate dishes at Target, Pier One, and Bed Bath and Beyond,) a variety of items featuring the unique style of Stephanie Kiker, stained glass by Patty Zukerowski, candles by The Outer Banks Candle Co, handmade soap, hand harvested Outer Banks Seasalt, glass fish, sea turtle pendants, and ornaments, functional pottery, and much more. We also feature Cascade Yarns and Darn Good Yarn; (fair trade) yarn and ribbons for jewelry making, knitting and crochet. You can order most items through our online shop.
