Scrub a Dub Dub, a Brush and a Dirty Tub - or floor, or...
Posted on:Monday, November 24, 2014

Scrub brushes are as diverse as the brushes in an artists palette. Each one has it's purpose. Each is good at what it does. The best cleaner in the world isn’t going to do much for you if you don’t have the proper brush for the job.  Sort of like eating soup with a slotted spoon – you're getting a taste, but you’re leaving bits behind besides making more work for yourself and taking floor with toothbrush

For general bathroom scrubbing there isn’t much you can’t do with a good angled brush. We have one with an optional pole which provides leverage, plus a unique shape that allows you to get into crevices. It tears up dirt and scum without tearing up what you’re trying to clean. A molded scraper at one end of this neat tool pries up solid bits of soap, food and so on. With two threaded handle holes so you can choose to attack from the top or side.

For regular tile and floor cleaning, you have many options available. There are large scrub brushes with thick grip-friendly handles that cut a wide swath through film and soap scum. For that gunk that loves to collect in little swamps behind the faucets in kitchen and bathroom sinks, you can use a tile grout cleaning brush that is the size as the old-fashioned worn-out toothbrush, but stiffer and better at scrubbing out that gunk.

Toilet brushes are another item entirely. Soft (but tough) Duralon mops work for delicate surfaces like printed bowls. For regular stuff, there are heavy-duty brushes. I favor Pumie sticks myself; with our hard water it’s either that or napalm.

For floor and baseboard cleaning, the “High-Low” brush is a great item. Its generous size and extra stiff polypropylene bristles are designed to speed things along for you. A good deck scrub brush can clean your garage floor and there are soft-bristled brushes to clean the vehicles inside it too.

We Fight Dirty!TM ... cleaning is an art and we have all kinds of brushes for your palette!
