Position Summary for Crew members:
Established lawn and landscape company is seeking team leaders for lawn mowing crews. These are year round employment opportunities with 30 to 50 hour work weeks in the summer. During the winter, team leaders are expected to plow snow. All applicants must have experience leading a crew in cutting grass, spring and fall clean ups, and driving a plow truck. Position Summary / Chief Position Goals for the Foreman Position
-Responsible for directing the day-to-day activity of crew members and has overall responsibility for the successful planning and execution of landscape projects including softscape, hardscape, irrigation, drainage, lighting, water features and maintenance.
Accountable for timely, courteous, and efficient response to clients' and managements' needs.
Successfully manage a crew to achieve all productivity, revenue, safety, and company policy issues.
Accountable for the safety, care, and proper utilization of all company assets and crew members.
Responsible for interacting with management and office personnel to help achieve company objectives. Must be able to efficiently and effectively communicate with vendors, employees, and clients.
A passion and pride for the Green Industry and a commitment to providing "only the best" landscaping services to clients.
High school diploma,
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic reasoning and time management abilities to coordinate effective completion of tasks.
The ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
