Job Description:
Our home health care agency is rapidly expanding and we are hiring a Field Registered Nurse (RN), Home Health effective immediately. We work with patients of all ages and backgrounds who require daily care in their homes. If you enjoy working one-on-one with patients outside of a clinical setting, please submit your resume.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assess patients’ condition during every visit and chart your observations
· Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication review
· Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment to patients as prescribed by the patient’s Physician
· Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
· Participates in on-call rotation once a month
· Able to work Westbank area (Gretna, Marrero, Terrytown, Belle Chasse, etc.)
· Available to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Qualifications:
· Louisiana State Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure required
· 1 year experience of recent home health care preferred
· 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
· 1 year of recent experience wound care and wound vac preferred
· 1 years of recent skilled nursing/teaching preferred
· Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
· Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
