A Parent’s Guide to Technology:
What every parent should know about their kids’ use of cell phones and Internet
Olive Branch Counseling Centers presents a free community workshop to provide families with resources and guidance on raising kids to be responsible and safe media users.
The workshop is hosted by the Centers’ director and licensed marriage and family therapist, Ken Olson, and will feature input from trained family counselors and an Internet technology specialist.
We will cover topics such as:
Social media networks such as Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter
Safe Internet surfing
Setting up security software on your computer
