my car's engine was fixed in that place about a month ago ,the original estimate for the repair was $1300 it was raised to $1700 and my final price ended up to be $1960 .After service was done my son drove the car for about two weeks ( less than 500 miles ) and the engine broke down again . When we took the car back to the shop they did dot honor the warranty they give me ( 1 year or 12,000 miles whichever comes first ) and i was told that i need a new engine that will probably cost me about $5k . I went there because of the distance from my house and the original price for repair was decent since my car was not a brand new ride , even after price increase i agree to their services and trusted them that the job will be done well . I recently found the place in Glendale that replacement of the engine ( used one after rebuilt) would cost me $2400 with 2 years/ 24,000 miles warranty , they had free towing ( if the engine brakes during the warranty period) anywhere in AZ and other stuff that i really do need to mention.... after all this place ( D&D)does not have good business practices, maybe for the little jobs they are ok but for something bigger not so much . Be careful if you are trying to use their services, shop around
