Dr. Kathleen Patrick is INCONSIDERATE and DISRESPECTFUL of patients' time. First, she requires patients receiving birth control to come in every 9 months. There is no medical reason for this; it is a MONEY MAKING TACTIC. I arrive for my UNNECESSARY "birth control follow up" visit to find out that because her earlier appointments cancelled and she wanted to leave for the day, she cancelled my appointment. A receptionist had called my office and left messages asking to MOVE my appointment to an earlier time, but I am a busy professional and I was in meetings all day. Even if I had wanted to, I could not have moved up the visit because of my scheduled meetings. So I trek all the way to her office only to have the receptionist tell me WHEN I ARRIVE that the doctor cancelled. You didn't think to leave that message on my voice mail, but let me waste my time and energy to travel to your office. I have endometriosis; if I do not take the birth control pills, I become disabilitatingly ill. They told me that they could not give me a sample pack because they don't have any. I find it VERY hard to believe that a gyn's office does not have any samples of birth control pills. The doctor is disrespectful of people's time and forces unnecessary visits to make money while the receptionists are callous, not letting me know that my appointment was cancelled and refusing to give me pills when I desperately need them. I had continued to go to this gyn, even though the receptionists place people on hold for 20 minutesjjust to schedule an appointment, they are rude, you wait for 25 minutes and Dr. Patrick sees you for 5 minutes, but this is the last straw. RUN, RUN, RUN from this place!!!!
