Come check us out...Outrigger is a great place to live...beautiful landscaping, new tot lot playground, good lighting, bright and secure laundry room, and staff that believe in and enforce neighbor's rights to 'quiet enjoyment' just as the lease requires.

RED FLAG!!! MOLD IN THE APARTMENTS!! RED FLAG!! NO ONE ON SITE AFTER OFFICE HOURS!! RED FLAG!! THERE IS 4 WASHERS AND 4 DRYERS FOR 48 UNITS!! THE LAUNDRY ROOM IS ALWAYS UNLOCKED AND IS IN THE BASEMENT!! RED FLAG!! THERE IS NO PLACE FOR THE KIDS TO PLAY!! RED FLAG!! IT WOULD BE IN YOUR BEST INTEREST NOT TO RENT HERE AT OUTRIGGER!! RED FLAG!! ALL THE MATURE TREES HAVE BEEN REMOVED THAT THEY STILL ADVERTISE ARE HERE ON THE GROUNDS!!

Response to old review: Mildew happens when well insulated homes with double pane windows never receive any air flow. Moisture in the home builds up from showers, cooking...even breathing. If there is no way for the moisture to escape and/or dry out, it will go into the walls. Mildew can often be attributed to life style. Venting a window 1 inch for air flow and having heat on (but not over 72!)will make a world of difference. The laundry room has a self locking deadbolt latch, the door re-locks itself after it closes. Access/Keys are for residents only that participate in the awesome $10/month for unlimited use of laundry room program. The motion detector light comes on at top of stairs and the lights in the laundry room are wired on 24/7. Check out our deluxe play set...the kids love it! It's also in a really great location away from parking and back behind the office. Some of the older trees remain alongside the front parking area. Newer landscaping in other areas created a more open feel.

OUTRIGGER APARTMENTS ARE A JOKE!!! BUG INFESTATIONS CRAZY/LOUD NEIGHBORS AND HORRIBLE STAFF IS WHAT TO EXPECT READ ON FOR MORE INFO!! for one they are way over priced for what they offer the managment SUCKS!!!! And most of the people that live there are out of control. The manager of the apartments does not live on site so when she leaves at night everyone comes outside and starts problems nothing is lit outside so its hard to see anything going on at night. the manager of the apartments sits in her office with the mantanice lady and litterally talks all day about all the residents and if any of the residents come into the office she will talk about other residence with that person and tell all there buisness and when she goes to screaming corporate on the residences dont worry she owns the apartment with her husband so dont let her lie to you she owns outrigger along with many others so DONT RENT ANYTHING RUN BY SPINNIKER PROPERTY MANAGMENT!! seriously or you will be sorry!! the parking is ok except that there is no lighting so cant see whats going on around you and the mantance lady has birdfeeders and flocks of birds fly over your cars and mess your car up and the dumpster for the apartments is like fenced and its pitch black in there and so totally scary. the noise is horrible you have women screaming for there kids from there front doors and yelling at there husbands/boyfriends one tenant always is doing this causeing problems you have people screaming from one apartment on one side of the apartments trying to get someones attention on the complete other side of the apartments. they did just do a whole bunch of renavation on the landscaping so that is nice but there are certain tenants with pets allow there animals to go to the bathroom on the sidewalks and in the grass where the children play and dont pick it up and it gets tracked everywhere how about somewhere kids to play so they can stay out of the flowers so you dont have to listen to the managers mouth oh wait there was a play area for the kids but the manager removed it how nice of her and there is nothing to replace it theres just a huge sandy area the maintenance is horrible here to get something done you have to go into the office and fill out a work order and hope it gets done at some point i can tell you that i filled a work order out the first week i moved in and over two years later it has never been addressed i have just been living with the problem theres mold in every apartment its horrible in the bathroom around the windows every summer a MILLION ANTS INVADE your kitchen last year i had to put every thing i had in the refrigerator because ants were everywhere and i said something about it and again nothing was done when your whole kitchen counter is crawling with ants theres a problem but apparently the manager doesnt think so cause she doesnt LIVE HERE!! there is like 49 apartments in the outrigger apartments and there is only 4 washers and 4 dryers and for over the two y

I would not recommend these apartments to because of the amount of noise that comes from the businesses on 6th Ave. Due to the fact that management doesn't live on site they are unaware of the daily occurrences that happen after office hours. It is not safe entering or leaving your apartment after the sun goes down, the outside security lighting is not functioning and needs updating. More emphasis has been put on the outside appearance than putting in a playground for the children to play on. This place is marketed as a family complex, but there is no place for the children to pay on except for the walkways in front of the apartments and stairwells.
