When can I start exercising after my procedure?
At the time of your consultation, we will discuss the type of exercise that you would like to do and how soon you can return to exercise.
How long will I be off work?
Each patient is different, so your time off work will vary due to your speed of recovery and type of work you do. Your surgeon will give you a time frame of how much time you will require off work.
Can I drive myself home?
Unless patient is having a local procedure, all patients require a responsible party over the age of 18 to drive patient home. We will not release patient to driving services such as taxis or Uber.
How long will I stay in the surgical center?
Your stay varies on how quickly you can recover after the surgery. Most procedures are considered outpatient; however, if you do require overnight stay, our facility and staff will accommodate the patient. Additional costs apply for overnight stay. At the time of your consultation, your surgeon will discuss the length of your stay and explain why you may need to stay overnight, if required.
Do you have in-house financing for my surgery?
20% down of you quote is needed to book surgery and full quote must be paid 4 weeks before your scheduled surgery date. You can make any amount any time. We do accept CareCredit, Prosper Healthcare Lending, United Healthcare, GECU Financing, and all major credit cards.
When do I have to pay for my surgery?
We do require a minimum of 20% down payment to be put on the surgery schedule. Full payment of surgery must be paid 3 weeks prior to surgery. Failure to pay balance within deadline, may result in rescheduling of surgery and fees.
How much will surgery cost?
At the time of your consultation, you will be given a detailed quote for your procedure. This will include the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia fee, and other cost associated with your surgery. There will be no hidden costs.
How soon can I book surgery?
At El Paso Cosmetic Surgery, we do have our own state-of-the-art surgical center, allowing us to accommodate patients sooner. There are mandatory wait times; however, if you have a specific date in mind, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to help you schedule your surgery to best meet your scheduling preferences. Surgery wait times can vary depending on the time of the year and other factors including the type of surgery and whether there is preparation required for your procedure.
Is Vectra 3D imaging used during consultation to show options?
Yes, we can use Canfield Vectra 3D imaging during your initial consultation to show you a range of possible outcomes after your procedure.
What happens during my initial consultation?
We do ask all our patients to arrive 15 minutes prior to their schedule appointment time. Our surgeons believe it’s very important to establish a strong relationship with you prior to any surgery. You will spend time with both your surgeon and patient care coordinator at your first consultation appointment. Please expect to be at your appointment at least 1-2 hours. This includes filling out forms and consultation. At your initial appointment with your surgeon you will typically: • During your first visit, you will be asked to fill out medical history and demographic forms. Please bring a list of current medications you are taking, past surgery history • Spend time with your surgeon and patient coordinator • May have photos taken for result simulation* • Have a physical examination by the surgeon (you may need to undress for a physical exam) • See before and after photos of previous surgery results • Find out more about your recommended surgical options • Received detailed information about your surgery i.e (risks, recovery) • Find out about surgery pricing and available dates • Discuss financial options • Ask any other questions you may have We apologise in advance if our surgeon is running slightly behind schedule on the day you attend. They usually run on time, but occasionally – working in health care – there may be a slight delay.
When do I have to pay consultation fee?
We do require pre-payment to reserve your appointment. We do accept all major credit cards.
How much is a consultation?
The cost of the consultation is $300; however, that is credited towards your procedure or treatment. The cost of the consultation for first time prospective patients are the same for Dr. Sozer, Dr. Phillips, and MedSpa providers. Credit will be saved on your account for up to 3 years. Consultation fee cannot be transferred to a different department or surgeon.
