Since 2007 San Carlos AYSO has been run by rogue Regional Commissioners. John Spottiswood, Brad Driver, and Marten Mills have refused to follow the written guidelines established through volunteer efforts since 1974. Players rights have been trampled on in favor of more competition. The rule requiring all players play 3/4's of a game before anyone is allowed to play the entire game has been changed to only 1/2 a game. Taking the chance of playing away from the less talented players makes a greater gap between players abilities. The Winter League Teams are all handpicked, no longer is the borderline player welcome in San Carlos.
