At Mother Earth's / Emma's Tamales our mission is to offer wholesome ready to eat food that will Nourish your body, Feed your Soul and Lift your Spirit*. We share with our own families what we share in the market place with the world, well, at least the Western U.S. America is on the move and eating well is an important component to sustain an active lifestyle. When I'm on a road trip I live on them but I eat them often here at work and at home as well. We package them so they are easy to transport and have a long shelf life without the use of preservatives. We take pride in using expeller pressed oils because they are not derived using Hexane. Hexane is a common chemical used to extract oils for food use which is known to cause cancer and is bad for our environment. Our tamales for fundraising are made with the same exceptional ingredients we use everyday, no skimping! We use non-gmo, organic corn, and the expeller pressed canola oil we use is certified by the non-gmo act to nourish a body well, not just feed it.
