Big B’S Barbecue

For almost three decades, Brian’s Beer and Billiards has been serving up beer and good times in abundance. Opened in the “early Reagan” years as a tavern with a difference, owner Brian Fairley blended what he learned at Marie Callender’s and other restaurants to make a “beer bar” that is clean, fun, and provided its customers LOTS to do. Brian’s was an immediate success, among the largest beer selling bars in Orange County. Bus trips to professional sports, close ties with CSUF sports, in-house pool tournaments, dart tournaments, over-the-line, three on three basketball, ski trips and golf tournaments gave its loyal customers a reason to drink beer as well as a great place to do so. A couple years later, Fairley opened up the Laundromat a couple doors down. Running lights into the bar to tell thirsty patrons that their clothes were dry, was convenient and led to some friendly gambling as to which light may or may not go on among our regulars, the notorious “round table.”
