Living with a Bipolar disorder is a challenge. I have seen a number of counselors in my lifetime, every time I felt I had established a good relationship with one of them they retired, moved, or dropped my insurance. Those were the good ones. The bad ones were just bad and I won't go into it. At Comprehensive Services I finally found a great counselor and a great team! My kids and husband see other counselors at the practice to support them with understanding Bi-polar and how it runs my life. Thanks Comprehensive!

I initially scheduled an appointment at Comprehensive Services because I needed medication my family doctor could not prescribe. When I called in for the first time I left a message for someone to call me back to schedule that appointment. I received a call back to schedule a day later. The caller was very friendly and professional. Because the nurse practitioner as booked out for about 3 weeks, they scheduled me with a counselor for some talk therapy while I continued with my current prescription. The counselor I see is awesome! When I did get in to see the nurse practitioner she was very helpful and took her time to understand my medical needs. I am doing great and am very pleased with the services I have received from Comprehensive Services.

My initial evaluation with nurse Gibbons was cut short when she told me that she could not write the prescriptions I was on, even though I set up the appointment for medication evaluation. My doctor said she would write the prescriptions nurse Gibbons could not, so I set up a follow up appointment. I got a call 30 minutes before the appointment saying she had to cancel, and could not fit me in for another month. I got another call while I ws on my way in, telling me today’s appointment was cancelled. When I finally did get in to see her again, she scolded me because she did not know what medications I was on, and only gave me a 15 minute block, even though she did not know anything about me. I called the "supervisor" who apologized, saying that all the nurses are their own bosses, and she suggested I see someone else there. I got a call the morning of that appointment; again, telling me it was cancelled. It has been months, I am experiencing severe side effects, and no one at Comprehensive Services has done anything to help.
