Salon Definitions is an independently owned and operated hair salon that has been serving the community of Morganton for over 17 years. We are proud to pamper guests from anywhere in the Western Carolina region. Salon Definitions understands the mind-body-spirit connection in hair care. After being a hair dresser for over 40 years providing coloring, cutting, styling, waxing and make-up applications, Janice Scalise decided that it was only natural for her to go one step further serving her clientele. She wanted to give them the opportunity to have permanent makeup. Permanent make-up would cut down on the time her clients would need to get ready for the day and would eliminate smudged eyeliners and sweating eyebrows and disappearing lipstick. So Janice trained and became a Certified Micro Pigmentation Technician. She has been offering this service to her clients for 14 years and has received raved reviews for her skillfulness of this craft.
