After seeing his and his wife's posts on FB market place, we went to see them. The prices they have on there don't match what's really in stock, if you want a good mattress. The prices for sure were not clearance or overstock! We purchased a set and just a mattress. The prices were high but since he was local, we decided to chance it. I've had them 3 weeks. When he was to deliver he forgot he offered to take the old mattress, so we had to wait for him to drop off another, and then wait for him to show up here. The box spring broke after a week of it being slept on and he wanted me to take the broken one to him. I had it delivered for a reason. Then he said I could pay him $40 to bring a new and take the old. To me that's poor customer service. He goes by my house on the way home, so that's a pretty steep price, and the fact we've had it less than a month, and he just won't make it right.
Now because I said I was going to file a complaint and that he obviously doesn't care about customer satisfaction, he refuses to help me. So now I'm stuck trying to reach out to the company who made the mattress and the number not working.
Stay clear of these folks! Go to a real company who actually cares about customer satisfaction than making a sale.
If I had read all reviews I wouldn't have gone there in the first place.
Update: The owner will state he gave me free delivery and a free bedframe and hauled away the old mattress. The ad on facebook stated free delivery, I did not ask for it.
I asked how much sets are and he gave me $89 for a full mattress and 99 for a queen. Those were 2 1/2 inch thick cheap mattresses.
The next day he messages that he has a promo going on that I could take a mattress with zero down and free delivery (again he offered). Two days later asked me again if we were going to come and stated he would delivery for free and give me a free memory foam pillow. I did ask if he could take the old (one mattress). He said he would haul the old away for free. He was being pushy, and should have been a clue there too.
We go and again the cheap ones are cheap. Not daily sleeping. The next up was way more. The 3rd up was $350 for a queen mattress and $350 for a full size set. I'm not sure what type of big discount was offered. I think he wrote $375 on his board.
I could have gotten a much better for this price (yes my fault).
He will also state that we broke the box spring by being rough. Let me state again, we used this for one week, one adult male. No rough playing. It broke the minute it was set on it at the end.
I should not have to pay any delivery fee nor find a way to deliver it myself.
Again he's only in it for the money, not for good customer service. Google his number, google the name, you'll see.
