DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM IDAHO PERCUSSION! In 2006 I paid for a Tama Star Classic G-maple snare drum and NEVER received the drum. After 6 months of listening to excuses from Frank Thomas (owner?) about delays in production at the Tama plant and issues with lacquer colors I finally figured out that I had been scammed by a phony online retailer. When I started asking for a refund of my money, they stopped answering my calls. I then asked my brother (who lives near Boise) to pay a visit to the address that I had for 'Idaho Percussion'. It turns out to be a residence where nobody answered the door. My brother called the police to come over to investigate. A few weeks later, I received a refund in the full amount back to my credit card.
