Jean Garrity Arnold is the founder of Palatine Ridge Counseling. Jean is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a Masters in Science from Northwestern University. Jean completed her marriage and family therapy training at The Family Institute of Northwestern University.

Among Jean’s areas of expertise are Couples Counseling, Family Counseling, Parenting Education, and Individual Therapy for adults and young adults. She is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.

Jean specializes in helping couples who are struggling with the aftermath of infidelity, the stress of child-rearing, or the complications of financial or family of origin issues. Jean also has extensive experience working with individuals and families during and after hospitalization for mental health issues.
