General Information

Our podiatric offices consist of two surgically board certified podiatrist (American Board of Pod iatric Surgery) both with over twenty five years experience. Our support staff consists of two full time employees with over thirty years combined experience and three part time staff who have been trained to understand that providing a pleasant and compassionate experience during the time it takes to alleviate your foot ailment is always our primary goal. We strive to treat each patient individually, understanding that there are a number of ways to achieve resolution of foot pain, and we offer a range of treatment options for each condition tailored to each patients personal needs and requirements. Our small office provides a more personal and individualized experience not often found in many of the larger group practices common today among pod iatric practices. Although skillful in the treatment of all foot problems, our doctors have particular expertise in resolving the more difficult and chronic foot ailments including heel pain, tendonitis, diabetic foot problems, and gait abnormalities requiring appropriate foot and ankle orthotics and prosthetics. In addition, our doctors offer the latest surgical and non-surgical treatment for painful ingrown and fungal nail conditions, corns and chronic pedal skin problems. For those patients requiring surgical treatment, our board certified doctors are on staff at both Vassar and St. Francis hospitals in Poughkeepsie, and also utilize the operating rooms of Vassar hospital's facility at Westage in Fishkill, New York. Most commonly, procedures are performed under safe local anesthesia with monitored intravenous sedation, avoiding the need for general anesthesia. Our doctors have years of achieving excellent results using the latest techniques in the correction of hammer toes, bunions, bone spurs, and soft tissue problems such as neuromas and plantar fasciitis. Some conditions today are resolvable using either endoscopic or laser surgery allowing a faster recuperation with less discomfort than what was available previously. Many minor procedures including nail procedures and wart removal are performed comfortably under local anesthesia in both our Poughkeepsie and Millbrook offices with laser surgery available in our Poughkeepsie office. With inclusion in most insurance plans, out of pocket expenses are generally limited to co-pays and deductibles, and for the few services not covered by insurance our office staff works with our patients to offer a wide range of payment options. We look forward to working with you and will strive to provide a fast resolution for your foot pathology. We promise a pleasant and personalized experience by our well trained staff who understand how debilitating foot pain can be and will listen to you carefully before advising a treatment plan. We always welcome new patients to our practice and appointments are generally available within a few days of calling.
