Annalisa Ewald has been teaching Suzuki guitar for over twenty years. She was the protegée of Sophocles Papas, prominent colleague of Andrés Segovia, longtime student of Patrick O'Brien. Her performance degree in classical guitar was earned at Bard with studies at San Francisco Conservatory and St. John's College, Annapolis. The recipient of numerous grants (from NYSCA) for concert series her solo album garnered the No. 8 position on Billboard's Traditional Classical chart. A Suzuki Association of the Americas Member since 1997. Her Suzuki Training was with Bill Kossler and David Madsen. She continues the tradition of teaching classical guitar to a select group of students.
