Barking Good Healthy Treats

We are Don and Jane Hoffmann, and we live ten minutes south of the Mall of America in a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. Don served his country in the Navy, then came back to the Midwest and settled in Minnesota where he met and married Jane, a middle school teacher and author of children's books.

In total, we have created our family with four amazing dogs throughout our married life. The first two were Buddy, a Lab/Alaskan Malamute mix and Belle, a Greyhound/German Short-haired Pointer mix. Now we are on the second generation with Bingo the Brave, a German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute/Hound mix and Baily Girl, a pure-bred English Pointer. All four were rescue dogs, and all four are loved dearly.

Bingo's health issues were the catalyst for Barking Good Healthy Treats. To get Bingo to eat more, Don created original recipes for dog treats, and our dogs plus our friends' dogs devoured the treats with gusto. And thus, Barking Good Healthy Treats was born. It truly was a labor of love – made from the heart. All of our dog treats are organic and free of man-made preservatives. Our treats are tested at Eurofins labs to insure the quality of our treats.
