So, I am the manager here at Eyechic optical in Philadelphia, and we had a problem with our front door. I called Cypress door for emergency service, and the technician arrived at 5:53pm. The dispatcher quoted me $250.00 for the service call, and $250.00 per hour labor, plus any parts needed. The tech was here till 7:51pm, and I sent the owner of our store the surveillance camera footage to prove it. The tech also needed my help to take the door off and reinstall it after the needed repairs were made to the top hinge. No parts were needed except 2 screws. We received an invoice for $1000.00, which is overcharged by $250.00. 2 hours labor @ $250.00 per hour, plus the $250.00 service call should have been $750.00, and we were infuriated by the $250.00 overcharge. I called the billing office and the rep told me I was quoted $500.00 for the service call, and I told him I would send him the E mail from his dispatcher for the $250.00 service call quote. The billing office then called and said the technician was here for 3 hours. I was so disappointed in the way we being treated, Blatantly being ripped off by this company. I would recommend anyone in need of any kind of door service or repair steer clear and far away from Cypress door and glass. You have been warned.
