Initially catering almost exclusively to members of the Red Hat Society our product mix has since been expanded to appeal to women of all ages and interests. It has become a 'destination' for women from all walks of life seeking OOAK (one-of-a-kind) head wear, with approximately 500+ hats on display at any given time.

Our primary product remains our proprietary hat line, CrowningLori Hats, designed and created exclusively by owner Lori Mirati, with over 20,000 unique hats made in the last 10 years. History

Established in 2003 CrowningLori Hats was originally opened as a custom picture framing, home decor and fashion jewelry shop. Owner Lori Mirati, however, soon found her 'true calling' when a friend asked her to make a red hat. The rest, as they say, is history...

With over 20,000 hats created and sold in the last 10 years CrowningLori Hats is possibly the largest purveyor of unique women's hats of all descriptions in the Pacific Northwest. During this time CrowningLori Hats have been featured on Fox TV's 'Better' program (twice), at NicolleShops.com, at the 2009 Nicolle Shops Portland 3rd annual indie fashion show, at numerous Red Hat functions, conventions and teas, at the 2009 Portland run of the musical 'Hats!'... and at the last nine Kentucky Derbys.

Lori Mirati, owner, CrowningLori Hats has been involved in the Fashion and Beauty Industries for her entire adult life. Hair stylist, cosmetics consultant, seasonal color analyst, fashion accessories store owner, cosmetics buyer, fine jewelry salesperson, fashion show coordinator, Amway Artistry Distributor more times than she cares to admit… and now, designer of Women's Fine Hats. If she hasn't 'done it all', she's come close.
