Regional Physical Therapy was founded in 1984 by Sharon Weiselfish-Giammatteo and Carol Gordon. Today, it is a thriving practice with a robust team of expert clinicians that have been working at R.P.T for many years, even up to thirty years. Our clinical team specializes in Integrative Manual Therapy, developed by Sharon Giammatteo, PhD, .I.M.T,C. Integrative Manual Therapy is a hands-on, one-on-one, customized approach to treating individuals with numerous conditions. I.M.T focuses on identifying and treating underlying causes of pain and symptoms in persons of all ages. Regional Physical Therapy is an in-network provider for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Connecticare. R.P.T also offers electronic submission for Medicare clients, as well as out-of-network Physical Therapy.
