Dr. Colaizzo is the most professional Chiropractor I have ever visited. I was dealing with significant back pain caused by a knee replacement. Dr. Colaizzo took the time to understand what was causing my pain and developed a treatment plan that worked to perfection. I am now pain free and I don’t know if anyone could have got me there they way Dr. Colaizzo did. A fantastic Chiropractor. I recommend her very highly. She improved my standard of living.

I am a 21 year old patient of Catherine Colaizzo. I went to her suffering from extreme upper back pain to the point where I was barely able to think straight. Long story short, the issue came from me always looking down at my phone. I spent almost every hour of the day looking down at my phone and didn't even realize it. Not only did I slowly start making changes when it came to using my phone but it also changed the way I look at life. The world in front of me is so much more interesting than whatever I look at on my phone. Such a great doctor and highly recommend her!

I have been having a good experience with Dr. Catherine and her staff, they make everything easier for you. I've been through an injury in my lower back and thanks to their care my progress is fantastic. Within 4 weeks my lower back is great and there is no pain at all. Additionally, the tips and advice I have received from Dr. Catherine have improved the way I take care of my entire back.

I am a registered nurse and I have been seeing Dr. Catherine Colaizzo for the past 4 months. I work long 12-hour shifts in the Emergency Department and it really does a number on my back. Since I have begun seeing her, she diagnosed and treated me right. Gave me great tips and stretches to do at work. I appreciate her and her practice. As a future nurse practitioner, she gets an A+. I found Dr. Colaizzo through my insurance company as I was in need of immediate attention to my back. Coming into the office I was immediately helped and felt as if all staff were there for my best interest. My first session I met with one of Dr. Colaizzo’s partners who examined my back, asked me questions, and took notes. During my second session Dr. Colaizzo was very thorough in explaining what chiropractic care exactly is and what it is generally used for. After x-rays and more inspection, she came to the conclusion that I have subluxation degeneration. Deciding chiropractic care was best suitable for me, Dr. Colaizzo gave me readings, had me watch a video explaining the problem, and set me up with weekly appointments that best worked around my schedule. Receptionist Latifa Hawkins has been extremely helpful in aiding my appointments. By sending out daily reminder emails and calling whenever there is a problem. She is always there with a big smile to help. I have been seeing Dr. Colaizzo for 4 weeks but it only took around 2 for me to see true results. At first I was skeptical since sessions were only 20 minutes long and very painless, but my back has been in excellent shape with very minimal to no pain at all. I would definitely recommend Dr. Colaizzo for those who are in need of chiropractic care.

I hurt my back working out in September. I saw my medical doctor 3 times in a month who gave me shots, anti inflammatory pills, pain killers and wrote a script for an MRI. I was told by my medical doctor I would most likely need some type of surgery. My brother recommended to me going to a local chiropractor before I get an MRI. So i took his advice and went to Chiropractic & Therapy Center. I was very skeptical @ first, but after a couple of visits i was feeling much better, and better and better after each visit.. I have been seeing Dr. Colaizzo for 6 weeks now and finally pain free. The Doctor and staff are excellent. They have flexible appointment schedules, friendly staff, and no wait time on the appointment days. For quite awhile my son kept telling me to find a good chiropractor. I had back and hip issues and was getting no relief from other avenues I had tried.

My answer to my son was that "I do not have the time to spend in a chiropractors office."

I finally decided that it was time to find a local chiropractor. I began going to Dr. Colaizzo in early May. She took a detailed history and discussed how she would treat my arthritis and spinal stenosis.

After several treatments my wife noticed an improvement in my mobility. I was able to get up from the floor after playing with my grandson. Getting in and out of the car was easier.

In June we went on a vacation. I was thrilled to be able to go sightseeing daily with little or no discomfort.

Dr. Colaizzo and her associate, Dr Varga are always professional. The office staff is friendly and extremely efficient.

My lower back problem stated after an injury I sustained as a teen. Throughout the past thirty years, I've always trusted chiropractic treatments to get better. Recently due to my long distance running as I was training for a half marathon, I started having severe lower back pains. I came to Dr. Colaizzo for treatments. She was very thorough with her examination as well as explanations of my condition accoeding to her findings. Taking into account all my past injuries and looking at the x-rays she had ordered, she explained to me, in detail, what my problem was and why I got pain flare ups time to time. This is the first time I really truly understood the resulting damage (subluxation degeneration) caused by my injury, as well as the changes that take place in the spinal column during aging. Her treatments included heat- electro- and ultrasound- therapy, positioning of spinal joints, stretches and massages. After two weeks, not only my pain was completely gone, I was also able to run and complete my half-marathon without aggravating my condition. She is very gentle with her treatments and I always felt extremely good after a session with her. I am continuing with the course of treatments she has planned for me. I highly recommend her and do so with no reservations.

My experience at the Chiropractic and Therapy Center has been nothing short of brilliant. All staff members have always been friendly and helpful and show a positive attitude that is reassuring that I am in the right place to get relief from chronic back pain. After the positive experience from the front desk attendants, Dr. Catherine Colaizzo showed an honest demeanor in her methods of assessing if she would be able to help me with my particular back injury. After her first examination, she quickly made arrangements for me to get an x-ray so she could further determine the extent of my back injury. She instructed me to come right back after the x-ray and that she would wait. Keeping in mind that I was in extreme pain at the time, these quick and considerate concessions made for me were very considerate of my desire to start treatment as soon as possible and begin gaining some relief. After returning with the x-rays, Dr. Colaizzo instructed me to watch a video that explained the nature of my back pain and illness. The video was very informative and afterwards, the Doctor showed me my own x-rays and compared them to the healthy spine that was shown in the video. She then asked me where I saw a problem in my spine based on the x-rays, and because of the education received in the video, I was able to understand and identify the area of weakness. Dr. Colaizzo then told me she can treat my condition and set me up for immediate treatments. I have been seen three times a week for the past three weeks and my back has improved dramatically. I was so impressed by the entire Chiropractic and Therapy Center experience I referred my wife for treatment and I would highly recommend this office for anyone suffering from back pain.

Dr. Colaizzo is an exceptional chiropractor. I have been suffering from neck and back pain stemming from seven compromised discs (ranging in severity from slight bulges to herniations and extrusions, and complicated by stenosis throughout) for well over a decade, now. So as you might imagine, I've tried a number of chiropractors over the years.

My search ended around 4 years ago when I found Dr. Colaizzo. She is easily the best chiropractic doctor with whom I've dealt. The experience at Chiropractic & Therapy Center sets itself apart from other facilities I've visited in 3 very important categories.

1) Chiropractic skill/Quality of work ethic. Dr. Colaizzo is a gifted chiropractor who has a passion for, and pride in, her work that goes above and beyond what I've experienced anywhere else. Simply put, she's good at what she does and actually cares about the quality of life of her patients. When I'm there, I am made to feel as though I am her only patient. I never feel rushed or lost in the shuffle, and she formulates a plan specifically catered to me and my level of pain at any given time.

2) Promptness of paperwork preparation. I don't know about anyone else, but this one is HUGE for me. I am a field technician and, when the pain from my disc herniations have a particularly bad flare up, I sometimes have to take time off from work. I depend on that paperwork being completed promptly and accurately so that there is no interruption in my pay. And given that I have a family that depends on me, this is extremely important. This has been an issue at other places. Paperwork is tedious, and as such other places have tended to procrastinate. But Dr. Colaizzo always gets it done on time, and gets it done right. This takes a lot of stress off of my shoulders.

3) Quality of staff. The staff is amazing. They are very organized and keep the office running like a well-oiled machine. One appointment flows smoothly into the next, making wait times a rare event. And at the same time, the atmosphere they create is both warm and friendly.

I couldn't be happier with the service there, and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a chiropractor.

I had never gone to a chiropractor before, but when I injured by shoulder I decided to go to a chiropractor for the work-up rather than an orthopedic surgeon. I was impressed by the thorough assessment as well as a depth of her medical knowledge. I wanted to avoid surgery at all costs. Compared to others with similar injuries, I quickly regained full mobility of my shoulder. I am now an advocate of chirotherapy and am confident that the reason for my speedy recovery was due to the care and the therapy I received at the Center.

Easy to find and very friendly atmosphere! I came here because of severe lower back problems. They took me in with a smile and educated me a little on Chiropractic to get a better understanding of what they do. I was sent for X-rays, which is a great sign for a great doctor. You dont want a chiropractor to just take you in and start manipulating you without knowing exactly whats out of places or what not. It was a very simple process and went back after the x-rays and the doctor went over everything with me and let me know if she was able to help or not. I can tell you this, i am at my 4th visit and already i feel a tramendous difference. I know its not a short road and this takes time, but knowing now what i didnt know before and seeing the difference i feel very confident in my doctor to have me back to feeling good very soon. I will recommnend this place to family and friends.

I have been going to Dr. Colaizzo for a few years now, and she has been AWESOME. recently I was in an auto accident and my back and neck were really screwed up. She has been treating me for this accident for a few weeks now, and thanks to her I can walk with realitivlely little pain! She is very compassionate and attentive to my needs!
