Mover Pros

I decided to sell her house, but I needed to move her belongings to 2 different locations in San Francisco. My realtor suggested this company based on Show Me Local reviews, but I read them myself. I decided to do the moves on 2 different dates to make it easier. I found them to be courteous, efficient, professional, and wrapped the furniture in such a protective manner as I would have done myself. The only thing I would have done differently was to have had cold water for the movers because it was very hot and they were sweating profusely, but never complained. I would definitely use them again.

After 25 years of living in San Francisco, we relocated to El Sobrante. Mover Pros did a good job moving our monstrous furniture (grandfather clock, armoires, and piano. The three strong men, Mike, Chris, and Jimmy did a wonderful job protecting our furniture from chips or damages. Amit was very punctual to come to our house to do the estimate that's affordable. I would recommend to call Mover Pros to eliminate the stress of moving.

Having to move twice in 9 days is never fun! After moving all of our possessions into storage while waiting for our new place to be ready, we came to the conclusion that we did not want to have to do it all over again!

After researching several places on Showmelocal and calling around, Mover Pros was my first choice. From the beginning, scheduling the move with David was very easy and he could even make the move happen within days!. The three gentlemen that were performing the move arrived on-time and worked very fast. They must be Tetris experts as they were able to get all the items in one truckload, saving us time and money. It helped that all of our items were already boxed and ready to go. The few loose items we put into our vehicle. No need to fret though as they bring wardrobe boxes free of charge to pack any loose items. No items were broke and the job took less time than anticipated.

Here's hoping a move is not in our future, but if it was, I would definitely use Mover Pros again and would recommend them to a friend.

I was recently relocating for my new job to a different state. I used to move totally by myself using the help of friends and family, but this time I had way more stuff and some of my furniture was pretty large and heavy. I searched online for a moving company and I found Mover Pros. I gave them a call, they explained all the details to me and were very friendly over the phone. They told my how much it would cost me and said that this was my final quote, with no extra charges coming along. That was great, I love when everything is clear from the beginning. Next week, as scheduled, the movers came, helped me to pack some of the items I didn't manage to pack myself, loaded everything to their truck and headed out to my new place. I was so happy there was no damages or loss of my belongings. The movers also helped me arrange everything where I wanted it to be, so I didn't have to rearrange it all over again. Made my move every easy and stress free! Great customer service and positive attitude! Highly recommended this moving company!

Amit and Agustin helped me move last week, and I have no complaints!! Despite a few challenges along the way (complicated furniture and steps with very low ceilings), these guys accomplished the job without a hitch! These two were extremely nice as well. I will 110% use Mover Pros in the future.

We moved last week and they were so flexible even when our old building forced us to siwtch times of the move the night before. Dan (the owner) also provided us with boxes and beat whatever price we could find for boxes online (which is cheaper than in store). The team was prompt, very friendly and very efficient. They definitely knew what they were doing. They even took apart and reassembled our complicated IKEA storage bed that we thought we would have to get rid of since we had no idea how to get it down our duplex stairs let alone reassemble it at the new place.

Like most other posters on here, this was my first experience using professional movers. I had always moved myself with the help of friends and family so I had no idea what to expect. And after some of the the horror stories I'd heard from other people, I was not expecting much. Thank goodness I choose wisely and went with Mover pros. In a word, they were just awesome. Very professional, courteous and hardworking. And at the same time, fun and cool guys. Not many people appreciate hard rock and horror models, but these guys did. Made the hassle and stress of my move not so bad.

First I called them to get a quote over the phone and they suggested me it was better for them to come to my house to do a in home estimate because it was a big house. When they came for the estimate at free of charge, they were very professional and explained to me every single detail about the moving and I didn't feel force to sign any papers. They even said if I wanted to contact other moving company to check prices but I was so comfortable with their professionalism that I didn't even wanted to try anybody else. I move from San Jose to Menlo Park. All my fragile items and my china dishes (dinnerware) I got as a gift for my wedding were packed very carefully on a special dish pack. I was very happy when they unpacked my stuff and it looked as it did before. The Forman and the helpers kept it very professional at all times and were on time as they said.

They jumped right in - running up and down the stairs, taking everything to the truck. While one guy tilted the couch in the air - the other rand around it shrink wrapping the blankets to the couch and taping it. They did not stop, sit around, breath - nothing. They just went to work. RUNNING. I'm not kidding. And they are paid by the hour.

Our new house was tricky. Beach house - kitchen living room on second floor. They navigated everything. Here's the heartbreaking thing: The refrigerator had to be carried to the second floor. But it wouldn't fit through the doors. They had to disconnect the doors - undo all the electronics attached - carry it up the stairs - slide it in and reassemble it. Once we got it in the kitchen - we saw it was way too big and stuck out of the cabinets way too far.

The whole crew who showed up were courteous, professional, on time, and respectful. They packed the whole place and loaded it into the truck in under 3 hours. Then they were able to unload and unpack everything in just two more hours. Amazing, didn't have to lift a finger.

To be honest, there are probably cheaper "companies" you can find on craigslist or somewhere else online, but trust me...pay the extra $10/hr and hire a company who is licensed, bonded, insured, professional and will actually work hard to get the job done right. You will be happy in the long run.

Because I changed the moving date I initially booked, I was worried that they may have forgotten, but Jim and his 2 other guys came on time at 8am on the D-Day. Phew! For 3 movers, they charge $125 with 3hrs minimum (a reasonable price for the service they provide).

Things went great. Thank goodness for movers because apparently, moving from a 2 bedroom apartment could take up to 5hrs. The 3 guys were great - fast, always busy, friendly and considerate. They'd make sure and ask where to place each box or item and oversized furnitures are packed and protected with those packing materials. I'm just happy I went with Mover Pros - the day went by smoothly and swiftly.
when estimating online It was suggested that I use 2 movers (large 2 bdroom) but could have used 3 men since there were stairs on both side of the move and some furniture assembly. The move took 7 hours.

First:, and probably most importantly to you, I would recommend them to my friends. I did a move within SF of about 1 BR's worth of furniture and belongings.

Mike who helped quote out the job was great about communicating with me to reserve a somewhat last minute (within 4 days of the last weekend of the month) move and answered the questions I had promptly and politely.

The two movers who came to do the move were straightforward, friendly, and honest guys there to get the job done and worked efficiently to move my belongings. They took care to wrap things that needed wrapping and blanketing things that needed blanketing and accommodated any requests about making sure certain boxes were handled a certain way.

Since I boxed and packed everything myself I can't speak to their full service jobs, but they were nice enough to provide wardrobe boxes for the move. I had all my things set prior to starting which helps make things smooth.

At the end of the day, it was efficient, easy, within budget (another quote was ~2x the hourly rate though with 3 movers), and my back appreciated not getting involved.

I would use them again but hope not too move too soon!

These guys did an absolutely fantastic job with our move!

Ben and his crew of 3 worked quickly and effectively and got us all packed up and moved in less than 3 hours. We have a lot of stuff for a 2BR apartment and the staircases are very challenging but they left no damage to either the walls or our stuff!

When we got the new house they moved an old refrigeration down to the garage through some extremely challenging conditions but they never complained and they managed the job in just a few minutes.

I will definitely use Mover pros for future moves. The cost/benefit ratio is unbelievable. I was expecting a much higher bill than the $450 they charged me. Note - I used my own packing materials and boxes so I can't comment on anything but the labor charges.

We've unpacked everything now and there was no damage done at all to our stuff - a testament to their hard work and attention to detail. They were all very friendly as well which is no guarantee in this business.
