Back In Thyme

Fresh lavender is available June and July but dried bundles are available until gone. We grow lavender and herbs specifically for use in our products such as soaps, lotions, salves, oils, teas, and potpourri. Our lavender is growing in the field but all of the herbs are tucked into the flower beds as used as needed. Many herbs are unusual or hard to find, I have been collecting and trading with other herbal enthusiasts for a long time. Each year I share some of the more hard to find herbs with people who have been interested in them.
In addition to working with herbs, jackets, vests, aprons, etc. are created using vintage fabrics giving them an old fashioned appearance. Wool and chenille are some of my favorite fabrics to recreate with.
Occasionally, we will offer a class on some kind of medicine making like the salves and oils. Other classes have been offered in learning how to braid rugs on a loom.
We have some seasonal events especially around the holidays and also this is the second year that we have been on the Whatcom Farm Tour, this year Sept. 14th.
