We encourage their ownership in company goals, and we invest their personal interest in long-term business plans and relationships within the community. * Our History * In 1953, Abadan was founded in Spokane and has been selling and servicing office equipment for the Mid-Columbia since. As demand for services increased, Abadan sent Bob Best down from Spokane to open an office central to the Mid-Columbia in 1975. Twelve years later, Bob bought the branch. To better serve our customers he built the company's Richland headquarters in 2005. * Success in the Community * Throughout Abadan's nearly six-decade history, it has maintained a significant presence in communities that it serves. Abadan?s community involvement includes Rotary, Leadership Tri-Cities, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, Pasco Chamber of Commerce, Home Builders Association, Visitor and Convention Bureau, United Way, and Columbia Industries. To various other non-profit organizations, they offer ongoing financial support, make special donations of copiers and equipment repairs, supplies and reprographic services.
