Swedish Massage:

Swedish Massage uses a system of long strokes, kneading, and friction percussive and vibration techniques on the more superficial layers of muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints. It is used primarily for full-body sessions and promotes general relaxation, improves blood circulation and range of motion, and relieves muscle tension. Swedish is the most common type of massage.

Deep Tissue Massage:

Deep Tissue releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the grain of muscles, tendons and fascia. It is called deep tissue because it also focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.

Sports Massage:

Sports Massage Therapy is classified into three main categories: maintenance, event and rehabilitation. Maintenance massage is a regular program of massage to help the athlete reach optimal performance through injury-free training. Event massage takes place before, during and/or after competition to supplement an athlete’s warm-up; readying the athlete for top performance, and/or to reduce the muscle spasms and metabolic build-up. Rehabilitation massage techniques are effective in the management of both acute and chronic injuries.


Pregnancy Massage:

During pregnancy and childbearing, there is an enormous influx of hormones and a shifting center of gravity. The weight gain, altered body shape, and resulting discomfort, all contribute to pregnant women feeling uncomfortable, emotionally and physically! Massage can provide an excellent means for relieving body stress. When a woman feels integrated and healthy in her body and mind, she will experience a more positive birth experience.

Corporate Chair Massage:

Chair Massage is administered while the client is clothed and seated in a specially designed chair which slopes forward allowing access to the large muscles of the back. On-site massage usually lasts between 10 and 20 minutes, and is intended to relax and improve circulation. It reduces work-related stress, improves alertness, performance and productivity.
$ 70.00/hour (depending on distance and the number of people)

Brands Carried: I use Biotone Massage Cream, and usually have the one that contains arnica and ivy extract. The botanical qualities of arnica extract and ivy extract are one of the best for pain relief and provide added skin health. It leaves your skin soft and smooth without greasy residues.

Atmosphere: I have a studio that has soft colors, soft music, and cleanliness, that lets you relax and enjoy your massage session.

Amenities: I provide each client a personalized massage geared to loosening their muscles. I show them specific stretching and strengthening exercises to help maintain their comfort and health.

Professional Affiliations: I am a member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and the NCTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork).
