Southwind Vineyard and Winery

Southwind is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery. Built over 40 years ago by Fred and Jeanne Allen and used as a dressage farm for horses, it was purchased by Lorre Allen and her husband Dr. Joseph Riley about 15 years ago.
Lorre loves all things French and was a high school French teacher for quite a while! Her exquisite wines are made in the Bordeaux Style with a couple of fun sweet ones so that everyone has something to enjoy!
Southwind is 100 acres of woods, trails, vineyards and farm! There is truly something for everyone here. Our premises are family as well as canine friendly and our staff is always happy to help however they can.
While there are plans for a larger tasting room in the future, right now we are very cozy! That doesn't stop us from hosting events like Art & Wine night and jewelry making classes though! When the weather is nicer we can accommodate large groups without any problems at all.
