"This company is a reincarnation of Garocco Pools. Gary Sewell, the former owner of Garocco Pools, and his nephew Matthew Lambert Jenson, have closed Garocco and reopened as "Poolside Elements." This is the second time that Gary Sewell has started a company, ripped off a bunch of customers then closed his company and started a new one. First it was with GMS Development and then it was Garocco. Gary lost his contractor's license with Garocco after numerous complaints (check the CA state licensing board website). Garocco received an "F" from the BBB. Online review of Garocco are filled with stories of Garocco taking a bunch of money up-front and then disappearing. So, they started a new company. This whole family is dishonest in their business dealings. I can't emphasize enough how you should not hire them to perform work for you. Please do your online research before hiring this company. The nice thing about online reviews is that 10 years ago these guys could have hidden and restarted a new company to rip off a bunch of people. Hopefully they aren't able to escape their past so easily this time."
