Lucas Auto Care Austin

Once again my BMW 750li has an electrical issue, but for the first time my warrenty is no mas, and now I don't have to go to the dealership for service. I gave Lucas a shot based on some a personal recommendation from my eye dr, and after googling them they have a pretty solid reputation for a new shop in town. True to my research they are a top notch facility and everyone I met was super nice and easy going. They diagnosed my issue, arranged for enterprise to drop off a loaner for me and BAM 2 days and a few hundred bucks later no more problems (for now, effing beemer). Thanks boys, I know I'll see yall again!

This is the only place you want to take your Mercedes if you want quality work and fair prices. I had been going to the dealership but no longer! I've sent a few friends to them and everyone is very happy with their experience.

This is the ONLY place I'll go to have my cars repaired. I even moved to the other side of Austin and I will still ONLY take my car to Lucas. I had my first experience with them after another shop tried to scam me into a new engine, and then tried to buy my car off of me for pennies on the dollar when the price of that exceeded the value of my car. Instead I had it towed to Lucas based off the positive reviews. It took Lucas less than 2 minutes to determine that my timing chain hadn't in fact broken like the previous shop claimed and it took a couple hundred dollars to repair the real problem. I went back to Lucas much later down the road when the same car was having problems left and right. The car sat parked in my garage for multiple years with no use at all. After a thorough diagnostic Lucas couldn't find any problems even though the car was almost impossible to start and ran horribly when it did. What Tyger thought was that the car simply needed to be driven. He didn't want me to spend more money with him trying to find a problem until I drove the car regularly for a couple weeks. Sure enough..the car runs like a dream . A true honest mechanic! He could have charged me an arm and a leg like most shops would have but instead he gave me his honest opinion . Can't say enough good things about Lucas auto Care. Great shop, great employees, great ownership. Not to mention Tyger is about the friendliest person I've ever met. He even calls weeks/months/years down the road to check and see how things are going.
