ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS:
PRINT READY = Artwork must be sent in True Vector Format. Files accepted: Adobe Illustrator Files (.ai) or PDF (.pdf) Files that are in True Vector Format. ALSO, all text must be converted to outline. Other file types are accepted but might require artwork charges to make them printable.

When screen printing, letters can be smaller and colors can be blended more intricately than in embroidery. The advantage of embroidering your logo is the added texture, character, durability and eye-catching appearance!

Lettering is the biggest challenge in embroidery. Because we’re using needles and threads, letters must be no smaller than ¼ inch high. In addition, we may need adjust the font to keep the overall size appropriate for a shirt or other garment.

Since embroidered logos are measured in stitches, the more complex your logo is, the higher the stitch count. Minimum specifications are required to achieve good results. Below are a few things to consider with the embroidery process:

1) The minimum height of any text should be no less that 1/4? – any smaller than this and the holes and shapes that make up the letters can start to close making the text look messy or even unreadable. If your logo has text that is smaller than this don’t panic! Let us have a look and we can generally find a way around it.

2) All embroidered logos are measured in stitches. The bigger and more complex the logo, the longer it takes to digitize and sew. When you request a quote, our Logo Specialists will evaluate your logo – absolutely free – to determine what works best for you.

3) To embroider your design we need to digitize it – this basically involves redrawing the design in special software that allows us to plot the position, size and direction of every single stitch. When we digitize your logo we have total control over the finished products.

Direct-To-Garment (DTG) printing is a great way to get full color prints on just a few shirts. Screen printing smaller orders with multiple colors has previously been cost-prohibitive so we offer DTG printing as an alternative – the process works much like an traditional inkjet computer printer but for apparel! Instead of a paper tray and toner cartridges, there’s a sliding t-shirt table and special garment ink cartridges – your designs are printed directly onto the garment. DTG is efficient and affordable to those who want to print limited quantities of custom t-shirt designs. There’s low minimums, so you can print 100’s of custom t-shirts or just a few!

For smaller production runs, DTG offers tremendous advantages over silk screen printing. DTG provides full color, photo quality images without the extensive set-up or complicated art preparation. Once printed, the garment is heat pressed to cure the ink and ensure washability. As with most inkjets, DTG printing allows for a spectrum of colors to be produced with vibrant, photo quality details. The possibilities are endless! Added bonus: there’s no color separation needed, you can print high resolution artwork, original artwork and even photos! Plus, environmentally friendly water-based inks are used so your shirt feels soft to the touch.

Similar to other imprint methods there are a few details and variables which determine price. The DTG process on dark garments costs more than if printed on a white garment. The total image size, how many imprint locations and how many total pieces your having printed for your project will also determine price. Use our quote request to find out how much your project will cost. Artwork files accepted: PSD (.psd),PDF (.pdf),JPEG (.jpg),TIFF (.tiff) at imprint size. Files should be created in 300 DPI from the start and not added into a 300 DPI Canvas.
