About Family Hope Center
The Family Hope Center is an international center for the development of all children, headquartered in Norristown, PA. We specialize in helping parents and families of children with injuries to their brain. These injuries may manifest themselves as labels many people refer to as “autism” or “ADD” or “dyslexia”, and so on. At The Family Hope Center, we firmly believe that parents know their children better than anyone, and should be in the “driver’s seat”, and that every child is different and deserves individual treatment.
With our Team clinical approach and our unique assessment chart, we design a Program specifically created to develop each child to be the very best they can be, regardless of where they started.
We have found that by teaching parents how to recognize and understand their particular child’s abilities and behaviors, they can pinpoint the responsible areas in the brain, and stimulate those effected areas to promote and improve their child’s function, and in most cases, restore them to a level of wellness to bring about change they were told wasn’t possible.
It’s all about the brain, where a child’s symptoms often originate. We do not focus our attention on the symptoms. When we successfully treat the effected areas of the brain, many of the symptoms begin to disappear.
The conventional approach often treats the symptoms as the problem, rather than the result of the problem; relying instead on medications, surgery and adaptive programs designed to help the child adjust and cope.
We offer a special 3-day parent training conference "How to Help Your Child with Special Needs", and a 2-day appointment with where our entire clinical team conducts a thorough assessment and design a Program specifically created to develop each child to be the very best they can be, regardless of where they started.
