"Stay Away. Worst Store in the Metroplex If I could give it a 0 I would. Terrible management and staff. I lived next to it for over 10 years. It was always faster for me to drive to another Lowe's than get help and check out at this one. And they haven't changed. Hard to find help and people don't seem to care. Go to Home Depot or a different one."

"I 'have' to do business with Home Depot for work; I keep trying to edge Lowes in as much as I can, but they keep sending me back to Home Depot, even when I have to take stuff back... I wish they would switch to Lowes, better service, better selection and better overall experience. I actually bought a large bag of wild bird seed; it was full of insects and some weird looking black larvae which crawled all over the back if the company vehicle. They were put out when I asked to have someone sweep the insects out or at least vacuum them out. It was 20 minutes later by the time some guy came dragging up there with a little hand broom. When he was told what I needed, he acted as if I asked him to hand wash my car without pay. IT WAS THEIR NASTY OLD BIRD SEED! I went back to get another bag, and the same thing on the next 3 bags I opened a tad to look. I told the guy working that department (who was laughing on a phone call), he didn't care, just said, 'Really, ok we will take care of it”, then just walked off talking on the phone and laughing. As I walked away, and elderly couple were looking at the bags, I told them about and showed them the bugs and they left. There are other similar stories of poor service, employees that don't care on the floor and so on, but I don't have fingers of steel to type them all up. UPDATE! Not sure how long this new manager has been there, but I was recently in this store for a few item... Well from the time I hit the door, to the time I got to my isle to get some blinds, I was greeted by no less than 4 employees, 2 asked and directed me back to where I needed to go. Then when I got there, a marketing employee from corporate office, dressed in an orange shirt and jeans; got off his business call to make sure I was taken care of! WTF, When did this store start caring about their customers? I was so damned impressed I had to tell the manager, and I did. I swear his cheeks were getting red from all the praise I was giving him and his people. But, still mentioned the miserable practices of the store on Forest and 75. 'IF' I have to shop at HD, I am heading the 7or 8 miles out of my way to get to a store that at minimum is making an effort to change."

"I went to rent a trencher machine and when I was using it, it stopped working and returned for another one. When my rent was done they charged me for breaking the other one, even though they said they just fixed it and I think they didn't fix it right. Accused me of misusing it, when I know it wasn't a misuse, it was their fault. Will never rent or buy anything at home depot"
