We believe this foundation will provide our customers and employees a positive and enjoyable business relationship. Company Story: Jerry Crumb Sr. began his plumbing career in Salem, Oregon in 1969. He began with no knowledge of plumbing and without seeing so much as a copper fitting. After five months he completely roughed-in his first house by himself. At the eight month mark in this new vocation Jerry was in charge of the entire company while the owner was on vacation. Jerry then moved to Arizona in 1970, and continued his plumbing career. He received his City of Mesa journeyman?s license in 1973 and an Arizona Contractors License in 1980. At that time he started his contacting business, and was mostly involved in new residential construction. Later that year he was awarded the Grand Hotel remodel in Apache Junction. This was our first commercial project, and the beginning of present day Iron Horse Companies. Jerry has continued building the family business & a reputation of quality workmanship. In 2003 Jerry?s youngest son Joe joined the family business. Joe completed his first commercial project during his first year. By 2005 Joe was running a crew of his own. Their focus was strictly new commercial construction and tenant improvement projects. The talents for plumbing that his father has shown also came natural to Joe. By 2007 he had taken over the estimating department along with his duties as Construction Project Manager.
