Situated on Western Avenue, next to an array of bars, restaurants, and the historic Will Rogers Theater, Café Nova is anything but ordinary. From humble beginnings as the former home of “Shoe Gypsy” and a “pre-legalization of tattoos” piercing parlor, NOVA was created in September of 2006 by a handful of forward thinkers and local design gurus. Now it lies solely in the hands of Oklahoma City’s beloved Deep Fork Group, who are also behind a few places Oklahomans couldn’t live without—The Wedge Pizzeria, The Mantel, Deep Fork Grill, The Drunken Fry, and our newest addition, the historical Blue Note. Don’t let the interior fool you. We love and welcome all walks of life. We want the hipsters, families, business folk, white and blue collars alike. We do it all and we do it well—private events, catering, bar service, and culinary fare that keeps it simple yet innovative. Local businesses are our passion. We take pride in featuring products from Joni’s Cakes, Urban Agrarian, Mustang and Choc breweries, Calvert’s Plants and Interiors, and Forward Foods, just to name a few. You won’t find a friendlier staff, cooler atmosphere, or better patio in town.
