Margarita Murphy’s is the perfect spot to enjoy a few of the cocktails that give this Murray Hill watering hole its name. Part Irish pub, part sleek sports bar, the flat screen TVs and high tables make Margarita Murphy’s great for socializing after work and watching the game simultaneously. Perusing the menu can put one into culture-shock as it draws from its Irish roots with shepherd's pie and fish n' chips while aiming to complement its tequila-spiked beverages with Mexican-themed fajitas and guacamole. But, don’t worry because this globalization is a good thing for your stomach. While all of the conflicting elements may seem unorthodox at first, if the New York Young Republican Club can hold its monthly meetings here, they can't be all that shocking.
