I was delivering a pizza and my car was going to be towed. I had to pay him $100 or he was going to tow it and it would have cost $225. It was a shake-down. I was parked in a fire lane for no more than 90 seconds. If I wasn't facing a building, I would have just gotten in my car and left, but I was trapped. They seemed to be nothing more than a legalized mafia. I should have called the cops but I had more deliveries in my car, which the tow truck driver (joey) didn't seem to care about.
