Growing up in our family business was how it all started. Perl Sausage, (a sausage manufacturing company) was based in Chicago. My seven brothers and I were all put to work in the business. Upon graduating from college, getting married, starting a family, my next goal was to start my own business. Growing up in the sausage industry… it seemed like a natural. Thus, at age 25, was the start of Deli Direct! It was rough going at the beginning but with determination, a deep desire and lots of work…. we made it!
Over the years, we have strived to carry fresh gourmet deli meats, sausages, delicious natural cheeses and cold pack cheeses. We also carry a wide selection of condiments, hot sauces and snacks that are all made with only the finest ingredients and are available at affordable prices.
During the past years, we have continued to grow. We have sales representatives all over the country that sell our ever-growing list of products. I personally continue to travel throughout the mid-west…. promoting our products to an assortment of corporations, clubs & individuals. Perhaps you may have noticed one of our delivery vehicles on the road like the one pictured here. I love meeting new people and sharing our products with them.
As times, continue to change so must Deli Direct. Taking phone and catalog orders was just the beginning back in the early days. Then came the Fax machine making it even easier for our customers to place orders. Next came the Internet with our ever-changing web site always growing in size as we add more new products.
