The Colburn School combines four separate divisions, each exemplary in its field of instruction:
Colburn School of Performing Arts (CSPA)
The Colburn School of Performing Arts (CSPA) serves artists of all ages with classes in music, drama, and early childhood arts education, taught by exceptionally talented instructors. An open-enrollment school, CSPA does not require academic degrees or competitive auditions for its courses, which cover a broad range of styles, age levels, and degrees of difficulty. Music classes include applied musical instruction, music theory, classical and jazz styles, choral programs, and large and small ensemble opportunities, all with an emphasis on performance.

(TZDI)
The Trudl Zipper Dance Institute (TZDI) is a premiere school of dance and movement, dedicated to helping students of all ages reach the highest possible levels of excellence. We provide instruction in a number of dance genres, including Ballet, Contemporary Jazz, Modern, Musical Theater Dance, Tap, Hip Hop, and Mexican Folkloric Dance, as well as Yoga, Pilates, and special technique classes for boys. TZDI also offers a Professional Training Program for serious pre-professional dance students who are prepared to work hard in a rigorous dance training program.

The Academy
The Colburn School Academy is an intensive, multi-layered music program designed to enhance and refine the performance skills, musicianship and artistry of highly gifted pre-college age musicians.

Colburn School Conservatory of Music (CSCM) is one of the nation's leading music conservancies for highly talented, college-age students pursuing the most rigorous classical music performance training. CSCM provides full financial support to all students, including tuition, room and board. Admission is highly selective and requires a formal application and audition. The Conservatory welcomes auditions from students on all classical orchestra instruments and piano.
