When Chef John Howie set out to create a truly unique Northwest dining experience he started by assembling the finest team in the Northwest. Chef Howie was already a distinguished fixture on the Bellevue dining circuit with the award winning Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar. He had also won awards and accolades for his upscale sports restaurant, SPORT Restaurant and Bar. Chef Howie’s team includes Mark Hipkiss, formerly Executive Chef at the Metropolitan Grill, Mark Manca, who had managed Harrah’s and The Stratosphere in Las Vegas, Erik Liedholm, whose wine program at Seastar has won national acclaim and Sommelier Lisa Rongren, formerly of The Herbfarm, Ray’s Boathouse and Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar. Annie Megofna from Restaurants Unlimited, most recently Palomino, Bellevue, Tim Lodahl, long time Seastar team member, and David Chou, who has extensive experience managing local restaurants completes the team.
