All the movers and the Customer service lady her name is Mary, the entire team at Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company were top notch. The movers are honest, smart, experienced and reliable. The price for my move from Sandy Springs to Lawrenceville GA was very reasonable and the best among 5 or so quotes I was given by another Atlanta and local moving companies. They treated me and my belongings with care, the customer service is responsible and helpful, and communication was very easy. Those are the reasons I would recommend Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company in a heartbeat, and though I hope to be in GA for a while, I would use them for my next move without hesitation. Relocation was really a hectic task to do, before I approached Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company. The previous moving companies were not at all efficient & unable to deliver what I wanted for. Every time I moved, I had to regret my decision of choosing the right mover. They were punctual, friendly, and took great care in padding and boxing my valuables. I was looking for a mover with good reputation in Atlanta area to pack my belongings and to deliver it to Athens GA within the same day. After a few days of searching I signed up with Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company for their moving services. First of all did not understand how they function but the rep who answered the call went over my requirements and told me how to go about it. The movers that they sent to get me moved were good to look at and nice to deal with. Not much to talk about them because the services were great.

Just wanted to add to my previous post - the company is great, their Customer Service is so helpful, I called them on July 04 afternoon and their customer support agent Alex was able to help me to schedule my last minute move for the next July 05 day,isn't it fantastic service?

This was our second move in 2 years with Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company and my second review. Our first move was from San Jose California to Atlanta Georgia so because of the great move they performed for us the first time we contacted them again for our next move from Atlanta Georgia to Birmingham Alabama and this time it was even faster and better than the first move if that is possible. If we move again and it is highly possible, we will be using Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company!

We moved from Atlanta GA to Macon GA. I had never used a moving company before, was a little hesitant hearing all of the horror stories, and decided to go with Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company due to the overwhelming quantity of positive reviews posted on Google. The guaranteed price attracted me because the last thing I wanted to deal with at my new home was some surprise, exorbitant increase in the price. I had received a few quotes, all of them lower, but had been warned numerous times that the price could double at the time of the drop, a potential nightmare. Not so with Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company. I knew where I stood right after Tommy drew up the estimate. Overall, an easy experience that allowed me to focus on other matters pertaining to my move. I was impressed that Georgia Movers No.1 sent someone out to my residence without a guarantee that they would ever receive money from me. Tommy went through each room with me and took notes the whole way. On the day of the move I was astounded at how efficient the movers were. Julio was the lead that day. With Gregory and Juan they had my furniture wrapped in blankets and plastic to the point where I no longer recognized it. All of my lamps, including bulbs, clothes, and glass framed pictures were carefully wrapped and packed. Boxes disappeared six at a time. They never stopped for a break. They had such a tight system down, I just stayed out of their way and let them work. Amazing. At the drop, all went smoothly. They reopened my furniture and arranged heavy items where I wanted. Julio made sure I inspected the truck after they were done. Now that I am unpacked, I can say that not one glass or dish was broken, not one piece of artwork was damaged or compromised. No tears, dings or dents in the furniture. Amazing. I do not think I could have done such a flawless job if I had moved it all myself. These guys showed an effort and level of sensitivity that I would expect if they were moving their own family. I will recommend BC to family, friends, and co-workers. Great job!

Hi - I recently moved with Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company from Atlanta GA to Macon GA. The movers helped me set up the move. Very nice customer support rep. Four guys helped me with my move.Josh was the head guy who drives the truck, the other guys all have assigned roles. They don't show up in matching tee shirts or jackets, so if that's what you want, look elsewhere. If you want good movers, read on. These were experienced, nice movers, but there appearance may be a little rough around the edges to some people. Don't judge a book by its cover... They came in to my apartment, told me "we'll take care of you. We're going to do a real nice move for you." And they did. They worked fast and hard. wrapped what needed to be wrapped, and packed it all up quick. I was able to observe them better when we unloaded. They worked very hard. All the movin crew was really pushing to move fast and get to certain items. That was their job, to push hard. Chuck & Bud had to be concerned with the minutiae, organizing, and making sure things were safe & unbroken. it was a nice balance. they had no idea what I was going to tip them until after the work was done. I gave them a generous tip, they were very appreciative, and asked me to request them if I ever moved again. These movers worked their butts off and were looking to do it again. Really nice guys in my experience. I treated them with respect and they returned it. Highly recommend these movers!

I've read the other movers reviews about the "scams" other companies can pull,...So you can see why I'm a little weary when I hire help.The actual charge for my move was identical to the moving quote. I knew it would take longer than 3 hours. It took 5, just like the movers said. But, it was a great deal for 3 movers and a truck was the best quality for movers around. Georgia Movers No.1 are AWESOME! From my initial call with the customer service agent I felt assured. I got quotes from several other moving companies, however, Georgia Movers No.1 on my mind. Fri. May 25, 2010 I moved into my first home. I moved from Atlanta GA to Cobb County. Georgia Movers No.1 are fast, friendly, dependable, and hard working movers who get the job done without damaging your precious items. They even picked up my mattress from the shop with no delay.

In a word - excellent. I used Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company because I had used them before and been very satisfied with the service. This time, I was even more impressed with their care for my belongings. We had to move nothing but antique furniture that has been in my family for a number of years. Many of the pieces were very old. Some of them were very heavy and bulky. I was very nervous about this move because of the fact that we were dealing with antiques. An antique china cabinet was my biggest worry because of the bowed glass on the piece. If anything happened to that glass, it would be nearly impossible to replace. All of the pieces would be costly to try to replace or repair if they were damaged in any way -- and all of them held enormous sentimental value to me - so if they were harmed the emotional loss would also be great. When Dave and his crew arrived, I expressed my concerns to them, and they assured me they would be very careful and everything would be ok. They assessed the situation - we weren't moving everything from the house, and part of what we were moving was going to my condo while other items were going to storage. They got to work and began to carefully pack and wrap the antiques and move them carefully to the truck. Each member of the Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company' crew treated my precious antiques as if they were their own belongings.

Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company made this last minute move so easy to book. They gave me an upfront quote. They were very professional, and very oriented toward excellent customer service.

The evening before the move, I received a confirmation call, and the day of the move, I received a call when the movers were on their way.

The movers were friendly and personable. The lead mover introduced his crew to me by name. They worked with speed and care. I was amazed at how quickly they had everything loaded, while being so careful.

They unloaded with the same speed and care. They even helped me organize things at the drop off point, AND they still finished the move within the predicted time frame.

After the move was complete, Nick The Foremen took the time to personally ask if I was satisfied with the service. I was more than satisfied. I will use them again. They are the best movers I've experienced.

I recently moved from Atlanta about 2 hours away. I looked around for movers, talked to friends, looked online, and ended up calling about 5 places for quotes and information.

Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company had an excellent reputation, but their quote was a little bit higher what everyone else's was, and I just couldn't afford it. Out of the others that I called (all licensed movers), there were two with low quotes, but I didn't really get a good feeling over the phone. For example, I didn't have the impression they were listening when I described the stairs at my place, the amount of stuff, how far away it was going, etc.

Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company quote came in mid-range. I liked the guy on the phone, who communicated well, was friendly, and seemed to listen. They quoted me a flat hourly rate for 3 guys and a 24-foot truck, and we estimated how long the move would take given the distance. I made the appointment.

On the day of the move, I got a call from the owner saying the guys would be about 15-20 minutes late and apologizing. Considering that I'm perpetually late to everything, I didn't have any issue with that, and appreciated the prompt call.

The 3 guys showed up, and they were great: friendly and super hard-working. I pointed at what needed to go (XXXalmost everything from a 2300 sq. foot place, with some of the heaviest items on the 3rd floor!), and they just got to work. I was amazed at how quickly, yet carefully, they could move stuff. They were practically jogging up and down stairs. But I never felt that they were being careless with my stuff. Everything was well-wrapped and buffered, and held securely and maneuvered well.

These guys were fast! Considering that they were being paid by the hour, you might think they would slow down a little, but they just kept up a really good pace. I gave them some cold drinks, and before I knew it, everything was in the truck.

They drove to the new location with no problem, and unloaded everything quickly. And they didn't get annoyed with me telling them "I want that box in front where I can get to it and that one over there and..." And did I mention it was about 90-95 degrees at the place they were unloading? They were troopers.

Anyway, I gave them a huge tip and was happy to do so they earned it. I highly recommend this professional, reasonably priced, friendly company.

Thanks Georgia Movers No.1 Atlanta Moving Company for a great moving job done and I will use these movers again an again. my move almost didnt happen b/c of bank errors and another moving company not showing up. the day of my move i had to call Rosie and let her know i wasn't going to be able to move due to changes in my move in date and funds. she worked with me and i was picked up on the date i was supposed to leave GA. it did take a while for me to work out the kinks on my end but after everything was said and done i was able to get moved with my new movers! the guys were great the office people were great. good job.
