Dr. Kotzan uses the Active Release Technique as a non-invasive way of restructuring the scar tissue of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia to decrease pain and restore function.When a muscle becomes overused, the source of many conditions, it begins to build scar tissue that limits the use of that muscle and causes pain.

Rehabilitation
