Dogs are dogs and people who own dogs and work with dogs, like myself know that. They are unpredictable, they are animals, they do not think like humans do and they are NOT humans, or "sons", they are animals. We love and care for them as best we possibly can and love them unconditionally, and they are a part of our families but they are not human. I have 7 years of experience working in pet care, and I would highly suggest that if you want to learn the truth about the way they run their facilities, such as North Shore Pet Connection, who has handled 3 generations of dogs, contact the owner and form your own opinions. The media forms stories on misrepresentation.

I have had several dogs cared for by this EXCELLENT establishment and I would not take them to any other place. My dogs are always brushed out and happy when I pick them up.

Our 6lb Yorkie, Chief, was KILLED at this pet boarder on 6/24/11 due to negligence of the owner. Apparently, he was put in a narrow fenced kennel run with other dogs up to 20lbs and left unsupervised for at least 10 minute stretches while the only employee was checking in numerous other dogs inside! They did not tell us that he would be unsupervised!! Chief was not being observed as should be the case according to animal trainers. He was KILLED by another dog as a result of this - obvious negligence. We were then offered the explanation that Chief must have been killed during a 2 minute period, silently, by another dog who was just playing with him. We did not even get a truthful, forthcoming explanation of the events after our dog DIED. It's bad enough our dog was KILLED here, but then to be LIED to about it is absolutely unconscionable! I dont feel they have the professional-level training sufficient enough to be letting dogs play with others. Take your pet here at your own risk!!!!
