DC Appliances Repairs

BEWARE: They posted on Craigslist as "Appliance Repair/Refrigerator Repair/Washer&Dryer Repair/Oven repair/ (northern virginia)". I called them to come and fix my refrigerator, two guys came, and all they did was scrape some ice off from the back of the freezer and told us he changed some part (which I highly doubt), and said it was fixed. He charge us close to $200 for less than 15 minutes work. I called him later that day telling him the refrigerator still wasn't working, he said to give it at least 8 hours. I called again after 8 hours, he said he'll come the next afternoon. I called the next afternoon, explaining I have a sick child, and she has antibiotics that she's taking and it needs to stay cool inside the refrigerator. This guy said he'll be here in an hour. THIS GUY NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED AND IT'S BEEN 24 HRS NOW!! I CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE CAN BE SO CRUEL. I REALLY HOPE THEY DON'T GET AWAY WITH DOING THIS TO ANYONE ELSE, THEY ARE PRACTICING SOME SHADY BUSINESS!! ABSOLUTELY ZERO STAR!!

If you don't believe me, check them out on yelp!! I never go out of my way to expose a shady business, but when it comes to my child, I'm not letting this one go!!

All of these comments are complete lies and are false testimonies that have cooked up. The same kind of false ratings are on google. If you read all the other comments you will clearly see what I'm saying.

The makeup of this company is only one person named Rashid. We had an issue with our defroster system and we called the number. It took repeated phone calls to finally get a response and he quoted me $200 for the service. When he finally arrived at the premise, he quoted my wife $285 and a $40 deposit. Not knowing that he had quoted me a different price, my wife gave him the $40 deposit. He promised he would get the part and repair it the following day. The next day NO SHOW.

When we finally got in contact with him and asked him why he quoted two different prices, he said that he no longer wanted to do the job and he was keeping the deposit.

THIS IS A FRADULENT PERSON LOOKING TO CASH IN. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DEFRAUDED!!!

I'm looking to submit a fraud claim against this company.

Terrible service. Didn't show up on time, wouldn't give me an update on arrival. Didn't fix, but still charged me. Said they would refund, but they ignore my calls. These guys are criminals.
