Kernan Hospital

My father is currently a patient at Kernan due to a spinal cord injury. As a health care provider myself, I am shocked and appalled by the negligent level of nursing care he is consistently receiving. Even after multiple attempts to speak with nurses, supervisors, administrators, and doctors involved in his case, his care continues to be deplorable. I would advise anyone who is considering this facility not to be blinded by the fantastic initial presentation, as we were. Moreover, take heed from this posting that if you are unfamiliar with health care practices and standards, it is the patient that suffers the most from this deplorable level of care. I would not wish it or provide it upon anyone, let alone loved family members.
