Incredibly rude. Sign says last load at 7pm, open until 8.30pm. When I arrived just before seven Peter, the owner's brother, groaned while smoking his cigarette. When I explained my boyfriend needed clean work clothes he said I could wash them but didn't I have a drier or a line at home? I explained I did not have a home and was on a bicycle trip so hauling wet clothes was not an option. He told me I could use a drier for ten minutes, fifteen max. When I asked how long a complete cycle took he retorted "I am not an expert". A wash takes twenty minutes. To "help out" (read: move me along) he moved clothes to the drier because it was "the Christian thing to do". As I waited for the clothes to dry he chatted outside, cheerfully stating that he would be out early. As I left, with my still damp clothes fifteen minutes later (before 8pm) I commented that the "Christian thing to do" would have been to let me do my laundry instead of trying to leave before the store was supposed to close. "I have never read that anywhere" - obviously, since Jesus did not have laundromats. He would have focused on helping people, genuinely caring instead of tossing a 25cent drier load & calling it kindness. This is not the sort of customer service anyone should receive. There are better local businesses around - do not spend your money one that has no concern for their clientele.
