At Children’s Carousel Learning & Day Care, students are cared for and educated by highly trained, dedicated directors, teachers and staff. Our home-like setting and safe environment make daycare at Children’s Carousel Learning & Day Care the perfect place for children to play, laugh and discover.

We are a Class A Licensed facility, and have been offering quality child care since 1990. Children’s Carousel is dedicated to providing your child with a quality education from birth through pre-k. All our lead teachers are certified with either a CDA, an associates, bachelors or masters degree in early childhood education. We require all staff members to obtain pediatric/child CPR and First Aid certifications and continuously provide our staff members with continuing education opportunities. Our teachers are nurturing and passionate about teaching your little one!

Our school features an art studio, extra-curricular lessons such as dance and gymnastics, computers, science centers, music centers, and a Spanish- Immersion program. We are located on 1 acre of beautiful land filled with various age-appropriate playgrounds, and two bicycle tracks. Each classroom boasts large windows and a patio door to the outside area, children are offered lots of outdoor playtime to help foster creativity and assist physical and motor development.

We believe children are talented, capable people who construct their knowledge through investigation and exploration, story and play. They are born with a sense of wonder and a natural curiosity about the world around them and they need to express their feelings, ideas, and experiences in many different ways.

At Children’s Carousel Learning Center here in Metairie, Louisiana , we give children the time, materials and guidance to understand their world and to communicate that understanding in ways that are meaningful to them. We recognize that children are naturally curious about the world around them and learn critical foundational science, math, reading and writing concepts through hands-on, sensory-oriented activities.

We support children’s active exploration and investigation through creative play activities. Brain research has shown children make deeper connections in comfortable, calming, home-like learning environments, surrounded by the beauty of the natural world. We know children feel safe here and are therefore best able to focus and learn.
