Bought a 2003 VW auto transmission with 88k miles on it ( so they say) and was told it was a great unit and it runs, they also let me look at it and told me they test the transmission by actually driving the car before they remove the transmission. Bought the transmission get it home and install it and thats when the problems start happening. first it was a very hard shift from P-R and from R to D, took it for a test drive and lo and behold than trans is slipping! Had it towed up to the VW Dealership and they said the transmission is trashed, oil is black and a fluid flush and fill will do nothing. Read over the warranty and basically if it isnt installed by an ASE certified MEch. the warranty is void and they dont cover labor..what a joke!! SO Basically folks if you want your $350 back for your broken trans you have to pay 800-1200 for removal and install then you can get your petty $350 back (thats if they even hold up to their warranty...i wouldnt count on that) Any positive review you see about this company is either an employee or a fake... ill also be taking this to the BBB, yelp and wherever i can post this so i can save people the time money and headache of dealing with scraps yards that are bogus..
